I am a child of God first, a happy husband of Karen D. Jones and proud father of Chaz, Aric, Bryce and Dia Jones second, then a hard working, loyal, committed leader at my company that prides himself in leading by example.

About 20 years ago I read Stephen Covey's book, "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" and it changed my life. Particularly, the chapter "Beginning With the End in Mind". It talked about writing your eulogy from the 5 most important people in your life from 5 different parts of your life. Mine were God, my wife, my kids, work and friends. Then he wrote, "If that's what you want those people to say about you when you're gone, then you need to start living that way today because tomorrow isn't promised". From that day forward I have been trying to live my life just like that and from that focus I believe I became the Christian, husband, father, employee and friend that I am today. Just as important, I strive everyday to lead by that exact example and try to impact other lives the way that Covey impacted mine.
